[Suzhou XITE Gas] High purity nitrogen is commonly used as a protective gas

The main way that human beings can effectively use high-purity nitrogen is to synthesise ammonia, but the conditions required are very high. In recent years, people are trying their best to figure out the mechanism of plant nitrogen fixation, and strive to simulate biological nitrogen fixation by chemical methods, so as to achieve the exploitation of nitrogen resources in the air under mild conditions.

High-purity nitrogen is mainly used in the synthesis of ammonia, the reaction formula for N2 + 3H2 = 2NH3 (conditions for high pressure, high temperature, and catalyst, the reaction is reversible) or synthetic fibres (nylon, acrylic), synthetic resins, synthetic rubber and other important raw materials. Nitrogen is a nutrient element can also be used to make fertiliser. For example: ammonium bicarbonate NH4HCO3, ammonium chloride NH4Cl, ammonium nitrate NH4NO3 and so on.

Because of the chemical inertness of nitrogen, commonly used as a protective gas, such as: fruits, food, bulb filling gas. In order to prevent some objects exposed to air oxidised by oxygen, high purity nitrogen is used to fill grain silos, so that the grain does not mould, does not germinate, and is preserved for a long time. Liquid nitrogen can also be used as a deep freezing agent.

It is often used as a freezing agent in hospitals to remove spots, bags, beans, etc. It is used to freeze off spots, bags, beans, etc., but it is not recommended because it is prone to scarring. High-purity nitrogen is used as a carrier gas for chromatographs and other instruments. It is used as a protective gas for bright annealing of copper tubes. Together with high-purity helium and high-purity carbon dioxide, it is used as a laser gas in laser cutting machines.

High purity nitrogen is also used as a protective gas for food preservation. In the chemical industry, nitrogen is mainly used as a protective gas, replacement gas, scrubbing gas and safety gas. It is used as a protective gas for aluminium products, aluminium profile processing, aluminium thin rolling and so on. It is used as a protective gas for reflow and wave soldering to improve the quality of soldering. Used as a protective gas in the production of float glass to prevent the oxidation of tin bath.
