The use of high-purity oxygen should pay attention to safety, do a good job of shockproof, fire, heat, oil and other work.

It is understood that high-purity oxygen can be flammable, should be placed in a cool place, is strictly prohibited close to fireworks and flammable materials; not in the oxygen table spiral mouth smeared with oil; cylinder pressure is very high, avoid dumping, impact when handling to prevent explosion.

1、Before using high purity oxygen, you should carefully look at the mark on the spherical part of the shoulder of the cylinder. Especially pay attention to the "next pressure test time". And in the process of using the gas cylinder in accordance with the requirements of regular technical inspection. Do not use cylinders that have exceeded the inspection period.

2, the use of high-purity oxygen, the first to do external inspection, inspection focus on the bottle valve, according to the pipe thread, pressure reducer and so on. If you find leakage, slip buckle, needle action or "climb high", etc., should be timely maintenance, do not deal with. It is prohibited to tighten the valve stem under pressure and adjust the padding.

Check the leakage of high-purity oxygen should be soapy water, do not use open flame. Cylinders and welding in the same use, the bottom of the bottle should be padded with insulating material to prevent the cylinder charged. Pipes and equipment in contact with cylinders should have grounding equipment to prevent combustion or explosion due to static electricity.

When using high-purity oxygen cylinders in winter, the bottle valve or pressure reducer may appear frost phenomenon, or thawing with hot water or steam, it is strictly prohibited to bake with fire or knock the bottle valve with iron, and can not be violently unscrewed pressure reducer adjusting screws, in order to prevent a large amount of gas flushed out to cause accidents.

High-purity oxygen is used for chemical vapour deposition of silicon dioxide; as an oxidation source and a reactant to produce high-purity water; dry oxidation; mixed with carbon tetrafluoride for plasma etching. Oxygen's main uses stem from its life-sustaining and combustion-supporting properties; it has a wide range of applications in metallurgical industrial production, and can also be used for water quality treatment.
